Life at WE Soda is about purpose, connection, and growth where people thrive together and help shape the future.

At WE Soda, work is more than a job – it’s a place where people thrive, connect and grow together. We believe that a purposeful career is built not just on what you do, but on who you do it with, how you learn along the way, and the collective impact you create every day. We want you to feel what it’s like to be part of a team that values authenticity, collaboration and continuous development.

Our culture

At WE Soda, our culture is rooted in accountability, transparency, and a deep commitment to doing what’s right – for our people, our partners, and the communities we serve.

These values set the standard for how we work and guide every aspect of our strategic direction.

Our employees are at the heart of our success, and we hold ourselves to the highest expectations when it comes to safety, integrity, and responsible operations. We believe that strong performance goes hand in hand with ethical business practices, and we work every day to create an environment where people can grow, contribute, and take pride in the impact they make.

Safety first, always

Safety is at the core of everything we do at WE Soda. It guides how we operate, make decisions, and look after one another across all our sites.

Our Board and leadership team are fully committed to strengthening both personal and process safety – especially at our operating facilities, where the highest standards matter most.

Working closely with international safety experts at dss+, we continue to elevate our practices to global best‑practice levels. By strengthening our safety culture, improving risk awareness, and investing in better tools and training, our goal is clear: to achieve world‑class safety performance and eliminate lost time injuries. At WE Soda, safety is a shared responsibility and a promise we make to each other.

Our people

Investing in our people

Here, life at WE Soda means joining a community that celebrates diversity of thought and background, embraces the teamwork, and supports you in bringing your whole self to work.

Investing in our people is core to our business and culture. It has helped drive our phenomenal success from start-up in 2009 to a world leader in our industry today. This combined teamwork and dedication to empowering, developing and rewarding individuals is key to our long-term success. We value:

Protecting human rights, equality, diversity and inclusion.

Maintaining exemplary health and safety standards.

Maximising development opportunities and fostering creative innovation.

Social events and community support initiatives.

Putting our people first

We aim to listen and to evaluate the needs, opinions and expectations of our employees and have established a range of communication channels to enable this.

We are committed to empowering, developing and rewarding our employees.

We work hard to ensure our employees feel satisfied at work because we know that a stable, motivated and well-trained workforce will support our long-term success.

Diversity and inclusion

Diversity and inclusion are important elements of our culture. We aim to provide everyone with a positive work environment and equal opportunities.

We believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce is an important driver of our success, and we are proactively working to improve gender diversity within our workforce, with a particular focus on management and leadership opportunities.

We recognise that the success of our business depends on the strength, creativity and diversity of our people, hence our core business target of 50% of middle and senior management to be female by 2035.

Our focus for the coming years extends beyond gender balance to strengthening diversity across all dimensions, backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. This means reviewing our current diversity and inclusion targets and establishing a plan to set refreshed, more comprehensive milestones that align with our operational structure.

Here are some of the actions we will consider:

Eliminate bias in talent processes

We are committed to creating a fair and equitable talent experience by actively removing bias from our hiring, performance, and promotion processes. This includes providing ongoing unconscious bias training for all employees, applying clear and consistent criteria to evaluations, ensuring diverse candidate slates for senior roles, and conducting regular pay equity audits to identify and close gender-based wage gaps.

Develop and sponsor high potential women

We aim to strengthen our leadership pipeline by developing and advancing high potential women through targeted programmes, senior sponsorship, early identification, and stretch opportunities. By increasing their visibility and support, we seek to create an inclusive, flexible environment where women can grow and succeed.

Create an inclusive culture and flexible work environment

We are committed to creating an inclusive culture that supports the advancement of women through flexible work and equitable parental policies, strong networks, and accountable leadership. By fostering a workplace where employees can balance responsibilities, connect, and speak up, we enable women to grow and succeed at every level.

Be a part of change

At WE Soda, sustainability isn’t a slogan – it’s the way we operate.

Every person who joins us becomes part of that mission. Whether you’re in production, engineering, logistics, or corporate roles, your work directly contributes to that vision. Here, you’re not just doing a job – you’re helping lead a global industry towards a more sustainable tomorrow. Together, we’re proving that responsible operations and world-class performance go hand in hand, and that real change is powered by people.
